winter holiday with NABILAH

I've been saving for this trip.

25jan2011-2feb2011!
one of the best holiday i ever had...
able to see my bestie in a totally different country. a totally different world.
she took care of me very well.
she's da best!

this is nabilah. my bestie since form3... until now. =)
currently studying in UK. she should be an accountant soon. or a businesswoman or something like dat.. =P

the day i flew to Heathrow, London. ALONE!
huhu...
i was scared to go on this trip.
i never travelled alone.
i've always travelled with my family, or my friends.
but i manage to build up the courage to fly alone... to see her.. =)
luckily she was dere waiting 4 me...

we walked around the neighborhood. around Wembley...
the location of her house is quite convenient. shops are just 10 mins walk ahead.
walked around more & saw all this read items.
red mini cooper.
red parking fee collector.
red double storey bus.
red post box.
which matches with my new red jacket...

27jan2011.
trip to Snowdonia, North of Wales.
rent a car to go there. it was a black Volksvagen Golf. the trip took around 4 hours.
played and wandered around the hotel for the evening.

welcome to the Royal Welch Fulisier Regimental Museum.

Welcome to the Caernarfon Castle.
this is the biggest attraction in Snowdonia.
if u ever come to Snowdonia, u must come here too.
the entrance fee is 5.05 pounds.
it was a very pleasing experience.

Welcome to the Snowdonia Riding Stable!
we ride horses.
haha.. yes we did!
i was sceptical at first. thinking wether i should do it or not.
it was my 1st try.
my horse, Abbey was a very obidient and experienced horse.
she does everything without fail unlike nabilah's horse who really likes to play around..
or as our instructor say, "she's juz being cheeky"... haha...

the day we check out of the Royal Victoria Hotel (the name of our hotel)...

stop at every corner and took pics b4 leaving the place.
this is actually the best spot to mountain hike... which we did not try to do...
saw a lot of hikers from different ages. couples. son and father. group of guy friends. pretty ladies(they hike too).. haha...

off to return the car we rent.
off to pay the fine we got as we parked at an inappropriate parking space in Snowdonia.
off to Sunday Market for lunch.
off to Asda for some choco's.
and off to Harrow to do some shopping... =)

31jan2011.
suppose to shop at petticoat market & spitalfield market but they weren't open on the day.
sooooo dissappointed!! =(
went to oxford street instead.
bought most of my souvenirs here...
couldn't buy the things i really wanted so had to settle for other stuffs...
stumbled upon a mosque here too...
lots of halal restaurant around. had pepperoni pizza for lunch... nyum nyum...

trip to centre of LONDON!!!

London Eye.
it was rather different than what i had in mind...
far more spacious and stable.

London Bridge.
it was far more simpler than what i thought too...
as nabilah says "its just a simple bridge which can open up whenever it needs to".
had lunch with the london bridge as my view... pretty romantic eyh... =P

Tower Bridge.
this is far more fancy than the london bridge.
why? because it has a tower... haha
there is another bridge that connects the 2 towers of the tower bridge.
we didn't enter. it costs 7pounds.
just enjoyed the scenery outside, despite the rain...

KFC!
there is no halal KFC in Russia! =(
so, decided to have a feast with her family b4 going back to Russia..
went to eat at Wembley's KFC with nabilah & her family.
spend around 10pounds here...
owh well, the trip is ending anyways. might aswell just finish all the money. heheh...
